Round-Robin Seasons
A round-robin season operates like the PDC Premier League.
Create your Season
From your League homepage, select “+ New Season” from your admin menu. Select “Get Started” under the Round-Robin header. In single-, double-, and triple-round-robin seasons players will play each other 1, 2, or 3 times, respectively.
Add your Venue(s)
From your Season Homepage, select “Venues” to search for your home venue. Add your venue if it is not already on Darts Atlas.
Share your Season homepage link
Your new season can be found on your League’s Upcoming Events page, in location-based searches, or by direct link. Players can see all of your season details in one place, and can register with a single click. Leagues with Payments enabled can provide an integrated payment and registration experience for their players.
Manage Registrations
From your Season Homepage, select “Players” to view your registration list. Add League Members to your season directly by selecting them from a dropdown list. Other players may be invited using their email address. You can invite new players to Darts Atlas within the same invitation process.
Registration status can be changed any time before checkout. Only players whose registrations are “Approved” will be added to the Season schedule.
Checkout
Darts Atlas charges an administration fee for each player in your round-robin season, which is paid once player registration is complete. Your season schedule will be automatically generated when your payment is made.
This administration fee is waived for leagues that capture registration fees through Darts Atlas (conditions apply).
Schedule
All season matches are created automatically upon checkout and are pre-configured with the settings you entered when you created your season. Match weeks will be automatically scheduled for every 7 days, starting at the day and time specified in your season settings.
Single-round-robin seasons schedule players for 1 match per week/round.
Double- and triple-round-robin seasons schedule players for 2 matches per week/round, though players may have just 1 match certain weeks depending on the number of entrants.
Match schedules are created for convenience, but any match may be played at any time. League Managers are not limited to running specific matches each week, or even on a weekly schedule at all.
Playoffs
You can hold an optional 4-player playoff tournament at the end of your regular season. Set your 1-4 seeds and Darts Atlas will create your semi-final matches for #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3.
Concluding your Season
The final step in your round-robin season is to set the winner. This will transition the season from “In-Progress” to “Concluded”, and will add the season to your League’s History page.
Leaderboard and Stats
Players earn 2 points for a match win and 1 point for a match draw (if your game length allows for draws). Following the PDC Premier League tables, the first tie-breaker is leg differential, followed by legs won against the throw, and finally overall season average.
Match Forfeiture
League Managers may forfeit a round-robin season match at any time. From the Season homepage, select “Manage Matches” from the admin menu. Next, select “Forfeit” under the losing player for the match. This will generate a match result that grants the non-forfeiting player a maximum victory. For example, if my season is played best-of-8 and I forfeit a match then my opponent will be awarded a 5-0 victory and will earn 2 points.
Player Removal
You can remove a player entirely from a season. From the Season homepage, select “Players” from the admin menu, then select “Remove from Season” beside the player you wish to remove. All of their matches will be removed from the season, and all player standings will be re-calculated as though those matches were never played.
