Order of Merit Seasons

An Order of Merit operates like the PDC Pro Tour.

Create your Season

From your League homepage, select “+ New Season” from your admin menu. Select “Get Started” under the Order of Merit header.

Manage Players

If your Season is Invite-Only then you will need to invite players by selecting “Players” in the Season admin menu.

If your Season is Open or Members-Only then players will be added to the season when they register for their first tournament.

Add Your First Tournament

From your Season Homepage, select “+ Add a Tournament” to add a ranking tournament to your season. Enter your tournament details and settings. Add a venue to your tournament to make it discoverable via search.

Tournament Management

See the Tournament Guide to learn how to run knockout, group stage, and cup format tournaments. The Tournament Guide covers registration management, checkout, bracket generation, match length customization, and much more.

Your new Order of Merit can be found on your League’s Upcoming Events page, in location-based searches, or by direct link. Players can see season details and your tournament calendar in one place, and can register for tournaments with a single click (depending on your registration settings). Leagues with Payments enabled can provide an integrated tournament payment and registration experience for their players.

Administration Fee

Order of Merit seasons do not incur additional fees beyond each tournament’s administration fee.

Playoffs

You can hold an optional 4-player playoff tournament at the end of your regular season. Set your 1-4 seeds and Darts Atlas will create your semi-final matches for #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3.

Concluding your Season

The final step in your Order of Merit season is to set the winner. This will transition the season from “In-Progress” to “Concluded”, and will add the season to your League’s History page.

Leaderboard and Stats

The default points system for a ranking series on Darts Atlas is linear, meaning players earn 1 point for each round they advance to. An alternative points system is a geometric, meaning point values are double for each round. The geometric scale is currently only available to certain organizations participating in a private beta.

Player stats and tables are automatically updated at the conclusion of each tournament.

Following the PDC Premier League tables, the first tie-breaker is leg differential, followed by legs won against the throw, and finally overall season average.

Refer to the tables below to see how many points players earn based on the round they reach.

Player Suspension

You can suspend a player temporarily from a season. From the Season homepage, select “Players” from the admin menu, then select “Remove from Season” beside the player you wish to remove. All of their matches will be removed from the season, and all player standings will be re-calculated as though those matches were never played.

Player Removal

You can remove a player entirely from a season. From the Season homepage, select “Players” from the admin menu, then select “Remove from Season” beside the player you wish to remove. All of their matches will be removed from the season, and all player standings will be re-calculated as though those matches were never played.
