Setting Up a Premier League Series on Darts Atlas
1. Create a Ranking Series
Create > Ranking Series
- Select your Organisation (required for a Ranking Series)
- Assign your Venue (optional)
- Enter basic info & your desired format, then press Create
2. Create Weekly Tournaments
Create > Tournament
- Assign to your newly created Ranking Series
- Give your tournament a name, e.g. ‘Premier League — Week 1’
- Set the time and date
- Ensure format is set to Knockout
- If you have platform payments set up, you can set the Registration Fee
- Set Max Entries to 8, then press Create
Once Week 1 is created:
- From the Tournament homepage, go to Admin Menu > Duplicate
- Update the date & tournament name
- Repeat until all 7 weeks are created
3. Player Registrations
Now that your weekly events are created, share the links with your players and have them register for all 7 events upfront (this will reduce your admin later in the series & prevent additional players registering by mistake)
4. Setting Up Each Week
Check in your 8 players as they arrive at the venue. Once done, proceed to the checkout & begin the Tournament.
⚠️ If a player is unable to attend, you will need to add a Guest Player called ‘Bye 1’ in their place (the name doesn’t matter, it will just be a placeholder in the bracket for the absent player). Check in the Guest Player(s) and deny the absent player(s), then proceed through the checkout.
If you haven’t done so already, set up your board(s) & assign them to your Tournament.
From the Tournament homepage, go to the Bracket tab. Scroll down and you will see the Seeding section. Apply the associated seed number to each player using the reference grid below.
📌 Ensure any guest players receive the same seed as their absent player
Then press Generate Bracket.
The bracket will generate and the first game will be assigned to the board, ready to play.
Forfeiting a Match
In the event of an absent player:
- In the Admin Menu, go to Matches
- Hit Forfeit on the absent player
- This will award the present player a win and move them to the next round

5. Concluding the Series
After the 7-week series is over, you could either conclude the series by crowning the player at the top of the Series Standings as the winner, with prize money based on their position in the table.
Or you could create a Finals Night — for example, the top 4 players compete in one final seeded knockout (1st plays 4th, 2nd plays 3rd) to crown a champion.
