Singles Round Robin Leagues
What Is A Singles Round Robin League
A Round Robin League is a number of players, playing each other over the course of a number of weeks. This can be set to play each other once (Single Round Robin) or twice (Double Round Robin).
Players earn points as they play, contributing to an overall League Table.
At the conclusion of the league fixtures, you can crown your winner from the top of the league table or create an optional finals play-off where qualifiers play for the title of Champion.
You will have to have an active Organisation Set Up to host a Round Robin League.
How To Set Up A Singles League
Hit the âCreateâ button in the bottom menu. Select âRound Robin Leagueâ. Now select your Organisation from the drop-down list.
Next, you can select the venue(s) associated with this League. Search and press âAdd Venueâ or skip this step and add venues later.
Now you can set the Basic Info:
- League Name
- Single/Double Round Robin (How many times players will play each other)
- Start date
- Additional Info for players (League format, prizes, venue information & rules etc.)
- Select the match length (Best of or Play all) & Format (501, Cricket X01)

- If you have Online Payments set up for your Organisation, you can also select a Registration Fee for players to pay as they register for the league.

Your new League is now live. Players can now find your league via:
- Your Organisationâs âUpcoming Leaguesâ page
- Search (provided you selected a venue)
- Direct link sent to players.
Players can see all of your season details in one place, and can register with a single click.
Manage Registrations
From your League Homepage, select âRegistrationsâ in the admin menu to view your registration list. This will displays all the players who are currently registered for your league. Registration status can be changed any time before checkout. Only players whose registrations are âApprovedâ will be added to the league schedule.
Players may be invited to register using their email address. Go to âAdd Playersâ in your admin menu, enter their email address and hit âSend Invitationâ
Checkout
Once all players have registered and you have approved all your players, you can proceed to the âCheckoutâ page.
Take a moment to ensure your Player List is accurate, as it is not possible to add in another player once the checkout process is complete. This administration fee is waived for leagues that capture registration fees through Darts Atlas (conditions apply).
When youâre happy, scroll to the bottom, pay the Admin Fee, Darts Atlas charges an administration fee of ÂŁ5 per player. If your using platform payments, you will not be charged the admin fee, as this has been covered by the individual payment fees.
Upon completion of the checkout, your League Fixtures will be automatically generated.
Schedule
All season fixtures are created automatically upon checkout and are pre-configured with the Match format you entered when setting up your League.
Fixtures are split into âRoundsâ with 1 game per player, per round.
This Fixture schedule is created for convenience, but any match may be played at any time. League Managers are not limited to running specific matches each week, or even on a weekly schedule at all.
League Structure & Stats
Players earn 2 points for a match win and 1 point for a match draw (if your game length allows for draws).
In the event of a tie, the deciding factors are:
- Leg difference (LD)
- Legs won against the throw (LA)
- Overall season average (Avg)
In addition to the League Table, there is a more detailed âStatisticsâ page which will show a playerâs total 100+/140+/180s for the season.
Playing a Match
As of July 2026, Scorekeeping Security is enabled by default for all new Leagues.
Scorekeeping Security gives League Admins greater control over where League Matches can be played.
When enabled, matches can only be started on League Boards that have been configured by an Admin. This ensures fixtures are played on approved boards and prevents players from accidentally starting a match on the wrong scoreboard.
If disabled, players can start their own League Matches on any board by entering the matchâs Short Code.
To change this setting, navigate to Boards from the League Admin menu and update the Scorekeeping Security setting.
Option 1 - Admin Assigned (Recommended)
By default, Darts Atlas uses Scorekeeping Security to ensure League Matches can only be played on approved League Boards.
Before a match can begin, a League Admin must assign the fixture to one of their pre-configured League Boards. Once assigned, players can start the match from the assigned board.
This provides greater control over where and when matches are played and helps prevent misconduct.
Assigning a Board
- Navigate to kiosk.dartsatlas.com on your board tablet.
- Select Control Board.
- Select League.
- Using your mobile device, scan the QR code.
- Assign the board to your League.
Assigning a Match to a Board
- From the League homepage, navigate to Boards from the Admin menu.
- For each board, use the drop-down menu to select the fixture you want to assign.
- Players can now begin scoring.
Tip: This is the default and recommended method for League play.
Option 2 - Player Self-service
If Scorekeeping Security has been disabled in your League Settings, players can start their own matches without requiring a League Admin to assign them first.
Players can:
- Open kiosk.dartsatlas.com on any available board.
- Select Control Board.
- Select Match.
- Scan the QR code and select the fixture from the drop-down list of available League Matches.
- The match will load and be ready to play.
Generating Short Codes
Alternatively, you can generate a unique Short Code for each fixture. This allows players to load a match by entering the code instead of selecting it from a board.
To generate Short Codes
- Open your League.
- Navigate to Matches from the Admin menu.
- Select Generate Short Codes.
- Wait for the page to refresh.
- Each fixture will now have its own unique Short Code.
Players can then:
- Open kiosk.dartsatlas.com on any available board.
- Select Score a Match.
- Enter the fixtureâs Short Code.
- The fixture will load and be ready to play.
You can also export the Short Codes to an Excel spreadsheet, making them easy to share with players before match night.
Note: Players cannot view Short Codes within Darts Atlas. They must be provided by a League Admin.
Concluding Your Season
The final step in your League is to set the winner. This will transition the season from âIn-Progressâ to âConcludedâ, and will add the season to your Organisationâs History page.
Once all fixtures have been completed:
- Go to âSettingsâ in the Admin Menu
- Select âConclude Seasonâ
- When the page refreshes, select the winner from the list of players
- This will then conclude the League and the winner will be visible on the League Homepage
Match Forfeiture
League Managers may forfeit a match at any time. From the League homepage, select âMatchesâ from the admin menu. Next, select âForfeitâ under the losing player for the match. This will generate a match result that grants the non-forfeiting player a maximum victory. For example, if my season is played best-of-8 and I forfeit a match, then my opponent will be awarded a 5-0 victory and will earn 2 points.
Player Removal
You can remove a player entirely from a season. From the League homepage, select âPlayersâ from the admin menu. Select âRemove from Seasonâ beside the player you wish to remove. All of their matches will be removed from the season, and all player standings will be recalculated as though those matches were never played.
